Chairman’s Message
The NATE 2007 Conference & Exposition in Nashville was a great success with more than 1100 attendees. The outstanding slate of speakers, educational sessions and training opportunities were unsurpassed in applicability and timing. Not one person to whom I spoke thought this years’ program could have been improved.
I would like to thank the NATE Administrative Staff and the Trade Show Committee for once again performing the impossible -- making each NATE show better than the last one. They’re going to have a tough time making NATE 2008 in Orlando better than this year’s event in Nashville.
One of the speakers, a veteran of 15 years (15-20 presentations per year) on the speaking circuit, told me and then sent a letter proclaiming that NATE 2007, without exception, was the best show with which he had been involved. He also called the NATE Administrative Staff highly efficient and highly spirited. Knowing this person’s history, that was no small feat.
The exhibitors were also very pleased with hall traffic and interest in their products and services. In an effort to always find better and more inventive ways to maintain interest, the 2008 Conference & Exposition will have a slightly different schedule. Something to look forward to I’m sure.
The NATE Summer Conference will be held August 14-16 in Watertown, South Dakota for all Board and Committee Members, so mark your calendars.
Thank you to each one of you who made a difference this year at NATE. There were new volunteers and new voices all working with the seasoned participants to make our efforts worthwhile. You all have my profound thanks and gratitude.
All of us working to make a safer industry will have an impact on our future.
